Steve graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2004 with a degree in Math. He began his career teaching the subject to high school students in southern California, but after working with a physical therapist on his own knee and hip pain when training for a marathon, his interest in the physical therapy field piqued and he returned to school. In 2010, Steve obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Steve completed his manual therapy fellowship with the Manual Therapy Institute in 2016 and has spent 11 years providing physical therapy services to workman's compensation patients in the Portland area. In his spare time, Steve likes to ski, cycle, eat his way through the Portland restaurants and food carts, and explore the world with his wife and newborn daughter.
