Justine Blaud, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with the Providence Medical Group-Mother and Baby Clinic. She sees patients at Providence Portland, St. Vincent and Willamette Falls Medical Centers. “I value empathy, compassion and holistic care, ” she says, “and I recognize their importance in creating a supportive environment that fosters a patient’s potential and autonomy.” Educating patients so they can make informed decisions and maintain their health is her most important role, Justine believes. “Building caring relationships and seeing patients take charge of their health is the most rewarding part of my work.” A graduate of Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Ky., she is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
