Maureen “Mo” Andersen, CNM, DNP, IBCLC, is a certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner at Providence Medical Group-Mother and Baby Clinic at Providence Portland Medical Center. She emphasizes listening to her patients, advocating for them, and educating them so they can make the right decisions for themselves and their families. “I’m passionate about lactation research, building patient relationships and watching parents gain confidence with their children, ” she says. A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, Mo completed her doctorate in nursing practice and her nurse midwife training at Oregon Health and Science University. She also is an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC).
