Description

Carol Opheikens, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner with Providence Medical Group-North Portland Family Medical Clinic. Nursing is her lifelong calling – “I never considered anything else, ” she says. An active listener and engaged educator, she enjoys working in partnership with her patients to help them define, understand and meet their health goals. Carol holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Linfield School of Nursing, and master’s degrees in nursing and in public health from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her internship at Providence Plaza Family Medicine. She also has specialized training in infectious diseases. In her free time, she is learning to speak Spanish.
