After emigrating to this country from Romania, Owner Pete Donisanu named the company after the Mayflower as a tribute to this land of opportunity. The Mayflower was a Pilgrim ship in the 1600’s and was a symbol of early European colonization of the future United States, solidifying it as a pivotal piece of American history, as well as the perfect symbol for our company.
