Matthew Dorsey, PT

Description

Matt is originally from Buffalo, NY and moved to the Portland area in April 2025 after doing travel work in NY, MA, WA, and OR. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Natural Science with a minor in Business Administration before continuing and earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Daemen University in Buffalo, NY. Matt has experience working with a wide range of patients including athletes, orthopedic patients, chronic pain patients, and patients with neuromuscular disorders. Matt has taken courses with Integrative Dry Needling (IDN), the McKenzie Method, Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), The North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMPT) to better reduce injury in patients and athletes alike. Matt believes in the importance of consistent strengthening and exercise throughout life to maximize health, avoid injury, prevent falls, and reduce pain. In his spare time, Matt enjoys watching football, weightlifting in the gym, rock climbing, bonsai gardening, and playing video games with friends.
