Dr. Pat Frost-Fitch is originally from Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University in 1978. This is where she developed her passion for teeth and oral health and making pets feel better. Dr. Frost is a board certified veterinary dental specialist and sees dental cases on Wednesdays. She also teaches dentistry to other veterinarians and technicians at seminars in the area, often here at North Portland Veterinary Hospital. When Dr. Frost is not working in a mouth she enjoys riding her part Arab mare on the trails in SW Washington and shares her country home with her husband Ron, 2 dogs, 4 cats her horse and a donkey. Your introduction usually starts by your veterinarian referring you to her. Dr Frost sees patients on Wednesdays. You'll always have an opportunity to ask questions and review the treatment plan before making a final decision. If you decide to proceed with the treatment, we'll admit your pet for the day and Dr. Frost will perform the procedure later that morning or early afternoon. We'll call you after your pet's procedure is done to let you know how everything went and when you can pick up your pet that evening (we're open until 7 pm). Dr. Frost works closely with our Certified Veterinary Technician, Lisa. She is board certified in dentistry and thoroughly loves making sure your pet's dental needs are taken care of. Lisa will make sure your pet has a very safe, uneventful anesthetic experience with us and she will also give medication and injections to block any pain or discomfort your pet might otherwise experience. Lisa and Dr Frost make a great team. You're welcome to call and talk to Lisa beforehand about the procedure.
