    <p><!--block-->Maggie is our Health and Safety Coordinator and has been working at our center for over seven years. She started her career as a toddler teacher and has since compiled over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. Maggie took on the role of Health and Safety Coordinator in May of 2013, assuming responsibilities that include organizing and carrying out monthly fire drills, policies and procedures training, and immunization reporting.</p>

  • Nicki

    <p><!--block-->Nicki is our school’s Learning Adventures Teacher, providing additional engaging curriculum in the subjects of science, phonics, music, and cooking. Nicki was born and raised in the wonderful "Midwest Mitten" of Michigan.&nbsp; She has been working as an educator for over seven years and has a bachelor’s degree with a major in elementary education as well as minors in English and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language). After completing a year of student teaching in an ESL kindergarten, she knew she wanted to teach abroad, so she headed off to Thailand where she taught for four years. Upon returning, Nicki lived briefly in Chicago before moving here to Portland where she has been now for over a year. She loves reading, fishing, traveling, and just got a new bicycle that she’s excited to ride around town!</p>

    <p><!--block-->Zach has been the chef here at our center since 2009. Prior to moving to Portland, he spent seven years at Dean and Deluca's Kansas City location sampling foods from all over the world and learning the ins and outs of cooking, baking, and catering. In 2011, Zach partnered with Sue Ann to develop recipes and implement the Cooking Adventures program, which he currently co-teaches with Nicki.</p>

  • Rebecca

    <p><!--block-->Rebecca is one of our center’s Pre-K teachers. She grew up in a small fishing town in Alaska and moved to Portland in 2012. After earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, Rebecca has accumulated over ten years of experience in early childhood and elementary education and particularly enjoys teaching Spanish and handwriting. When she’s not having fun in the classroom, she enjoys biking, skiing, gardening, traveling with her husband, and walking her toy poodle named Pirate.</p>
