He is board certified in family medicine. He sees himself as an educator as well as a physician, and he enjoys using both his medical knowledge and his teaching skills to help patients make decisions that are consistent with their health goals. Dr. Rakowski's teaching background includes several years as a certified course facilitator for a national diabetes prevention program (Prevent T2) and a chronic disease management program.
